In 2012, I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Hairy Cell Leukaemia. Following the diagnosis and my chemotherapy, I started writing about my dogs, Alfie and Pepper, as a way of keeping myself focused. To date I have written 9 stories of which 7 have been published. It also keeps my lovely Alfie and Pepper's memory alive.

Pepper, the Welsh Border Collie, is the wise one guiding Alfie through each day from the moment they wake up in the stories - Alfie is the cheeky chappie who just wants treats, but also wants to learn from Pepper. 

  

My stories are aimed at children, between the age of 3 to 6 years old, although a lot of adults have enjoyed them too!
